Temporary employment register

Medicare Australia invites people with relevant capabilities, knowledge, skills and personal qualities to register for non-ongoing (temporary) employment opportunities that may become available in the organisation. The broad categories of work that may be available from time to time include

To be eligible for engagement as a non-ongoing employee, you must meet Medicare Australia 's eligibility requirements. See Are you eligible to apply?

Provided you meet our eligibility requirements (these will be checked should non-ongoing employment be offered) and other conditions mentioned below, we would be very pleased to register you for non-ongoing employment. To do this

  • complete the attached Non-ongoing Employment Registration
  • send the form and your resume by postal mail to the
    • National Recruitment Manager, Medicare Australia National Office, (if interested in Canberra based employment opportunities), or
    • HR Manager in the specific state or territory in which you wish to register interest in an employment opportunity. See Contact Us for address details.

Important: Medicare Australia will determine whether your application will be included on its Non-ongoing Employment Register. There is no guarantee you will actually be registered. Only applications that contain an employment history and evidence of skills, qualifications and/or experience that are highly relevant to the needs of Medicare Australia will be registered.
